Optically variable ink The denomination number in the lower right corner of the back side of the banknote is printed with a special optically variable ink. When the banknote is tilted at a certain viewing angle, the color shifts from purple-red to greenish brown. Intaglio printing Intaglio printing is used on the front side of the banknote in the marked areas and can be felt with the fingertips.
