Monthly Economic Survey

Monthly Economic Survey is a brief information on the recent trends in the domestic and international macroeconomic environment and financial sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been published on the web site of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina since May 2013 (previously, it used to be an internal information for the Bank management). The information includes graphic surveys with brief comments and statistical tables. The breakdown of statistical data is 45 days after the expiry of the reference month. The Monthly Economic Survey is published on monthly basis (except for the last month in the quarter, when the Bulletin is published).

Bulletin

Bulletin is a quarterly publication, which provides a more detailed analysis of macroeconomic trends in the country and foreign countries and financial sector based on the data of monetary and financial statistics, data on payment transactions, data on real sector and the data of the balance of payments of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The breakdown of statistical data is 45 days after the expiry of the reference quarter. Bulletin is available in the printed version and on the web site.

Annual Report

Annual Report is a publication which includes a survey of macroeconomic trends for the entire year, Report on Operations of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the year and the Financial Statement verified by the external auditor. The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is obliged to submit to the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Annual Report for the previous year until 31 March. The Annual Report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is available in the printed version and on the web site.

The Annual Report is published after it is considered at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (in May for previous year).   

Financial Stability Report

The Financial Stability Report is an annual publication of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina which includes the assessment of the risks arising from macroeconomic environment and trends in the financial system, and the assessment of the resilience of the financial system to the identified risks, with a special stress on the resilience of the banking sector.

By publishing the Financial Stability Report, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the general public on the existing risks for the financial stability, as well as the risks which the financial system might face in the periods ahead. The Financial Stability Report is focused on the events from the previous year and the most important events from the first half of the current year. The report is available in the printed version and on the web site.

Special Research Topics

Special research topics are published in the form of an occasional publication, which represents the exclusive author's research on the topic with purpose of further elaboration and discussion. The author is an employee of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
